About the Role:
- This posting builds a candidate pool for upcoming roles supporting the VA's Office of Clinical Informatics.
- Positions include interoperability, clinical informatics, data analytics, program management, and training.
- Placement depends on future VA call orders and funding under the OIP contract.
Areas of Work:
- Interoperability and health data exchange using HL7 v2, FHIR, and C-CDA.
- Clinical terminology mapping and governance with SNOMED CT, LOINC, and RxNorm.
- Clinical informatics, EHR optimization, patient safety, and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of professional experience required.
- Experience in at least one area of work and ability to obtain a VA background investigation.
- Many roles require a master's degree, clinical license, or 5-10+ years of specialized experience.
