What You Will Own:
- Own the month-end and quarter-end close process across US, EMEA, MX, and Australian entities, driving toward 10 business days.
- Oversee revenue recognition (ASC 606) for multi-element arrangements including SaaS, hardware, and advertising revenue share.
- Manage consolidation across 4+ entities and own the annual audit relationship.
Compliance & Tax:
- Manage multi-state sales tax compliance, reseller certificate compliance, and state income tax filings across 42+ states.
- Oversee subcontractor compliance and coordinate US federal and state income tax, government grants, and transfer pricing.
- Own music licensing compliance with support from legal.
Systems, Process & Controls:
- Drive the finance systems roadmap including Xero, Salesforce, Avalara, Aleph, and Ramp.
- Build a documented internal control framework progressing toward SOC 2 readiness.
- Implement AP/AR automation and banking controls, and own procurement workflows.
