State Authorizations Officer

Role Overview:

• Serve as a key institutional resource for state authorization, distance education compliance, and professional licensure.
• Work across UCLA with academic units, legal counsel, and leadership to translate regulations into practical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide compliance with state authorization regulations for distance education and physical presence.
• Support professional licensure disclosures and coordinate determinations across U.S. jurisdictions.
• Manage international authorization reviews and maintain compliance data dashboards.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with administrative experience in higher education.
• Broad knowledge of state authorization regulations and strong communication skills.
• Experience developing training and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary range of $120,000 to $141,000.
• Hybrid/remote schedule with relocation packages available.
