Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Rackspace Technology is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the Terraform subject matter expert, building reusable modules, automating infrastructure provisioning, and enforcing IaC best practices. The candidate will develop, deploy, and maintain Landing Zones or equivalent cloud foundation frameworks in Azure and/or AWS environments. They will also support application migration projects by designing scalable, secure cloud architectures and implementing the required infrastructure through IaC. Other responsibilities include building secure, compliant network and identity architectures, collaborating with DevOps, security, and application teams to define standards, guardrails, and automation patterns, and continuously optimizing cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost management. The role also requires creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, IaC documentation, and operational procedures.
