Job Description
The System Director Philanthropy plans and implements a comprehensive fundraising program in support of philanthropy's national initiatives. The position will have direct fund-raising and strategic oversight as part of their job portfolio. This California centered position can live anywhere in CA, preferably between Los Angeles and San Francisco and local travel to hospitals will be required.
Focuses on Major Gifts; depending upon the Prospect, may be the primary or secondary fundraiser. Develops and oversees the fundraising strategic plan to generate major gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations and grants for system national initiatives for the Santa Cruz, Ventura and Bakersfield areas in California.
