• Lead and manage all civil work at substation and transmission line sites.
• Create and supervise earthwork, grading, drainage systems and access roads.
• Review and approve civil construction methodologies and work plans.

• Support the preparation of civil engineering designs and construction documents.
• Assist in grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management design tasks.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop construction drawings—plans, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts.

• Learn and apply client-specific templates and technical documentation to various design projects.
• Assist in cross-referencing designs against local jurisdictional requirements (Municipal ROW, DOT) and national codes (NEC, NESC).
• Utilize and update QC checklists and leverage digital project management tools (Smartsheet, Excel, and internal dashboards) to monitor workflow efficiency.

• Responsible for reviewing engineering designs, proposed installations, and in-place systems, infrastructure and facilities and providing associated recommendations.
• Assists with planning, design review and construction oversight of IST's projects.
• Supports the development and preparation of SOWs and cost estimates related to proposed engineering solutions; reviews the same from other stakeholders.

• Lead Structural Engineer on projects, may include reviewing project designs, plans and specifications.
