The Role:
- Reporting to the CFO, this position owns R&D financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across the clinical portfolio.
- Serve as primary finance business partner for R&D, partnering with business leaders to inform key decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and month-end reporting for R&D, including trial-level cost models.
- Support CFO with multi-year strategic plans, board materials, and business development initiatives.
- Partner with Accounting, Clinical Procurement, and Operations on accruals, vendor contracts, and variance analysis.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in FP&A, investment banking, or consulting with advanced Excel and modeling skills.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- BA/BS required; MBA and biotech/pharma experience preferred.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- Remote-based role (East Coast preferred) with 10-20% travel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Salary range $200k-$240k USD plus equity, medical, dental, vision, 401k, unlimited PTO, and parental leave.
