Backend Engineer, Observability: Ingest

As a Backend Engineer in Observability: Ingest, you will be responsible for streamlining the transport of Metrics, Logs, Traces and Profiles to Grafana Cloud. You will collaborate with your team to deliver new features, analyze outcomes, and make improvements, as well as contribute to open source projects like Grafana Alloy and the OpenTelemetry Collector. Your work will involve designing, building, operating, and maintaining essential systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability, as well as taking an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives. You will also participate in on-call rotations and support and mentor team members. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial in our remote-first engineering team.
