Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer will begin their role by supporting our manufacturing team in Fremont, CA for the first six months before transitioning back to Charlotte, NC. During this period, the engineer will work as a Manufacturing Technician, gaining deep, hands-on experience assembling and testing our metal 3D printing systems alongside our production team. After this initial training and onboarding phase, the engineer will transition into a field-based role supporting customer installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and will report to the Field Service Manager. This dual-phase approach ensures each engineer is fully equipped with the technical depth and product familiarity required to be successful in the field. The Field Service Engineering organization is measured by its ability to maintain machine availability. The starting base salary for this full-time position is between $93,000 and $105,000.
