Compensation:
- 1099 independent contractor structure
- Per deal success fees on closed engagements where you contribute meaningfully
- Optional retainer for active sourcing assignments
- Equity participation available on select strategic engagements
Location and Commitment:
- Remote. US or Canada based.
- Travel is minimal and deal specific.
- No fixed hours or minimum time commitment
Qualifications:
- VP Operations, COO, President, or CEO at a utility services operator, renewable developer or O&M platform, water utility, environmental services platform, or PE backed energy infrastructure operator
- Fifteen years or more in energy adjacent services with direct multi-site or multi-region operating experience
- Working knowledge of regulated utility procurement, federal and state environmental compliance, or renewable project finance, depending on your subsector
- Existing network of relationships with founders, family owners, senior executives, and PE professionals across your subsector
- Comfort representing Fireclay professionally to PE sponsors and target company management
- Discretion when handling non-public information and competitive intelligence
- Willingness to work on a flexible per engagement basis without fixed hours or commitments
