Job Description

As Assistant Supervisor, the prospective candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Special Applications Supervisor;
  • Assist the Supervisor in coordinating projects and daily unit operations;
  • Support implementation of new laws, policies, and procedures as directed;
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to troubleshoot system issues, test system changes, and promote use of online licensing services;
  • Monitor team performance, assign and review tasks, provide support across all areas of staff work, and proactively report and resolve issues;
  • Process and monitor license applications and related documents received in person, online, and by mail;
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies through regular quality checks and follow-ups;
  • Handle routine payment processing and related math calculations;
  • Provide high-volume customer service in person, online, and by phone;
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support efficient application processing;
  • Provide backup support to Licensing team members as needed;
  • Adhere to all division and agency policies and procedures; and
  • Complete all assigned licensing tasks.
