Overview:
- We are seeking a Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer for a contractor program supporting a state government professional licensing and regulatory compliance platform built on Google Cloud.
- This role is ideal for a senior QA engineer who owns the full test lifecycle, from test strategy and case design through automated regression, across web, API, and mobile surfaces.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional QA/test automation experience with cloud-hosted applications.
- Web E2E automation with Playwright, API automation with REST Assured, and SQL for test data setup.
- Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and testing asynchronous, event-driven behavior.
Scope of Work:
- Define and maintain test strategy and plans for web portals, backend services, and external integrations.
- Build automated E2E suites for citizen portal and staff console, plus API coverage for microservices.
- Support performance testing, UAT cycles, defect triage, and release readiness sign-off.
