Business Systems Analyst

The Business Analyst (BA) will play a critical role in supporting technical focused solutions and behavioral health initiatives for the VA Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. This is a 100% Remote position. The BA will bridge the gap between clinical teams, leadership, and technical partners. This position is responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing data, improving processes, and supporting the design and implementation of technical solutions that enhance access, quality, and efficiency of behavioral health care services. Key Responsibilities include partnering with behavioral health subject matter experts, program managers, and technical development staff to gather and document business requirements, workflows, and system needs. The BA will translate complex administrative, clinical, and operational requirements into clear functional and technical specifications. They will support data management, reporting, and visualization for clinical and technical performance metrics. The BA will also facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and focus groups with military, Veteran, and family populations. They will also monitor implementation progress, coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing, and provide post-deployment support for technical work product.
