About the Role:
- This is the first product hire in the US, working directly alongside the VP of Product in New York.
- You will own product areas across the full Matia platform, spanning Ingestion, Reverse ETL, Observability, and Catalog.
- You will be expected to go as deep as the problem requires, understanding database replication and CDC behavior.
What You'll Do:
- Take end-to-end ownership of product areas, translating complex technical and data challenges into clear priorities and specifications.
- Immerse yourself in database replication and pipelines, and turn that depth into better product decisions.
- Build strong remote relationships with the Israel-based engineering team through crisp written specs and sharp async communication.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years on data-intensive or infrastructure products.
- Genuine working knowledge of relational database internals, especially Postgres and MySQL.
- Strong SQL, comfort with data structures, and a track record of shipping technical products end-to-end.
