Job Description

The Electronic Monitoring Program Analyst role supports NOAAโ€™s Sustainable Fisheries Division in the West Coast Region. The analyst will provide essential support to catch shares, electronic monitoring, and Groundfish permitting programs. The analyst will assist with processing permit applications, respond to constituent inquiries regarding EM requirements, correct EM data reporting errors, draft internal documentation, and maintain records related to permit activity. The candidate will also perform QA/QC, assist with spreadsheet-based analyses, provide cost recovery reports, and deliver monthly progress summaries. Required qualifications include a Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field or a combined five years of relevant education and experience, combined with demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.
