Role Overview:
- This Staff Industrial Engineer will shape future supply chain flows and optimize building layouts for efficiency.
- The role operates autonomously, driving lean and continuous improvement programs across ShipBob facilities.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new layouts, enforce quality control, and improve fulfillment and transportation efficiency.
- Manage operational projects, facilitate corrective action teams, and deliver variation reduction using Process Control.
- Coordinate cross-functionally on new processes, equipment planning, and standard operating procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- 6-7+ years of Industrial Engineering experience with a degree in IE, Engineering, or Data Science.
- Six Sigma Black Belt and deep knowledge of lean, continuous improvement, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, CAD skills, and ability to launch greenfield facilities and process automation.
