Application and Enrollment Reader

Carnegie Mellon University's Pre-College Programs is hiring application and enrollment readers for the winter and early spring of 2026. Core responsibilities include attending required trainings and weekly meetings and thoroughly and holistically evaluating application materials to help enroll an academically and artistically qualified, diverse Pre-College cohort. Other responsibilities include reviewing enrollment documentation for admitted students to ensure preparedness for program participation and completing assigned readings to maintain a strong understanding of current and historical admissions and higher education practices. Readers will work approximately 17.5-20 hours per week and will have a flexible schedule. A remote work option may be available for candidates with residency in Pennsylvania, California, New York, Virginia or Washington, D.C.
