Senior Environmental Assessment Specialist

Role Overview:

• Reporting to the Director – Environmental Assessment, this role provides leadership for planning studies and environmental assessments.
• Leads design and development of environmental and social impact assessment reports.
• Supports corporate technical compliance, governance, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads EA scoping, drafting, and strategic reviews of documents.
• Interfaces with First Nations, governments, and communities to advance EA activities.
• Keeps abreast of legislation changes and coordinates regulatory information.

Qualifications and Culture:

• Bachelor’s degree and 7-9 years of environmental consulting experience required.
• Knowledge of Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, and BC impact assessment regimes.
