Role Overview:
- Work with Semafor’s leaders to shape our Asia vision and product.
- Help recruit for and build Semafor’s Asia-based reporting team.
- Lead the development of Semafor’s Asia briefings and products.
Responsibilities:
- Anchor Semafor’s coverage across Asia — across all platforms and live journalism.
- Write must-read stories about the region, with a focus on business, economics, technology, and energy.
- Participate in event moderation, as well as media appearances on TV, radio, and podcasts.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of journalism experience, including relevant experience covering Asia.
- A track record of newsroom leadership.
- Experience and interest in global financial and business journalism.
