Role Overview:

  • Protect the integrity of the Handshake platform by reviewing user activity and enforcing policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Support, Product, Legal, Security, and Operations.
  • Maintain a safe, reliable, and high-quality experience for students, employers, and universities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and investigate reports of suspicious, abusive, fraudulent, or policy-violating activity.
  • Evaluate user accounts, employer profiles, job postings, and messages for trust and safety risks.
  • Identify patterns of abuse, fraud, spam, scams, impersonation, or other harmful behavior.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3+ years in Trust & Safety, content moderation, fraud investigation, or a related field.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and clear written communication skills.
  • Experience with internal tools, ticketing systems, and moderation queues.
