Manager, Platoon Operations

Provide comprehensive support, coaching, and guidance to volunteer Platoon Leadership Teams, empowering them to orchestrate impactful projects and events that benefit both veterans and communities. Foster collaboration with other teams to identify shared outcomes and work together to ensure that our platoon leaders are at the center of our work and results in the overall success of the organization. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports into our data management system to track project outcomes and community impact. Share best practices and implement effective processes focused on volunteer recruitment and engagement, a positive volunteer experience, volunteer retention, and building a pipeline of platoon leaders. Support and inform the training of leaders, evaluation of the platoon program, and implement tools and processes designed to support a consistent and positive platoon leadership experience. Manage Platoon Leadership Team budgets and assist with community partnerships. Build and maintain a productive working relationship with Platoon Leadership Teams and assist Regional Managers with special projects.
