Job Description
This role is part of our Central Platform Engineering Team at saas.group. You’ll own outcomes for a set of brands: assess where they are, recommend what “good” looks like, and implement the plan. The role blends architecture, enablement, and practical engineering. It’s senior and autonomous: you’ll advise and sometimes convince stakeholders, then deliver.
Lead infrastructure projects for assigned brands: migrations, performance & reliability improvements, incident response practices, containerization, and cloud cost optimizations. Establish/upgrade CI/CD, infra as code, monitoring, alerting, and SLO-aligned dashboards; baseline and improve reliability with data. Advise brand CTOs/engineering leads on trade-offs and architecture; justify decisions with clear reasoning and measurable outcomes. Contribute to and consume central services so brands don’t reinvent the wheel. Collaborate with developers; troubleshoot across app and infra boundaries.
