Core Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly COGS analysis, variance tracking, and cost optimization across programs and campuses.
- Manage overhead reporting and departmental cost analysis, enforcing budget discipline through proactive engagement with owners.
- Support month-end close and audits by preparing reconciled schedules for prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets.
Budgeting and Reporting:
- Assist in the annual budgeting cycle by consolidating cost submissions and validating departmental assumptions.
- Maintain rolling forecasts for overheads and COGS, updating for actuals and management decisions each month.
- Prepare cost performance sections for monthly management accounts and contribute to Board reporting and donor reports.
Systems and Analysis:
- Utilize NetSuite for data extraction and Google Sheets for financial modeling, trackers, and dashboard creation.
- Apply SQL for data querying and reconciliation to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Track capital expenditure against budgets and reconcile CAPEX actuals, supporting project cost reporting and fixed asset management.
