About the role:

  • Provide independent, recovery-oriented support that is trauma-informed and grounded in harm reduction.
  • Support patient autonomy, meet individuals where they are, and help them pursue meaningful recovery goals.
  • Build sustained relationships that promote recovery, self-efficacy, and community connection.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized peer support to patients with varying levels of need.
  • Connect patients with community-based resources and coordinate with clinical partners.
  • Recognize safety concerns and escalate as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of peer recovery support experience including opioid use disorder treatment resources.
  • Active peer certification in good standing and NCPRSS certification or ability to obtain within 9 months.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
