Senior Principal Engineer

The Role:

• Drive architectural strategy and technical execution across an 80+ engineer Application Portfolio covering Web, Mobile, and Headless surfaces.
• Set the vision for a technology transformation from a feature factory model to a platform-driven system, modernizing API layers and integrating emerging standards like the Model Context Protocol.
• Partner with Product leadership to ensure customer-obsessed engineering and that technical choices accelerate product velocity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce frontend architecture standards to ensure consistency, scalability, and performance across all applications.
• Act as a mentor and coach to senior engineers, fostering a culture of high-impact decision-making and proactive problem-solving.
• Spearhead the evolution of application architecture, including modernizing API layers and enabling next-generation agentic workflows.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience (15+ years) as a senior/principal software engineer with deep expertise in frontend architecture and large-scale systems.
• Proven success leading technology transformation across organizations of 80+ engineers in a customer-obsessed environment.
• Strong product mindset, with the ability to balance high-level architectural strategy with hands-on production-level coding.
