**Role Overview:**
- Lead the Global Tax team at Monzo, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
- Define tax strategy, risk appetite, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with product, treasury, and executive teams on tax implications of new initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement global tax strategies for UK, Europe, and future markets.
- Manage transfer pricing, tax audits, and relationships with tax authorities.
- Oversee direct, indirect, employment, and operational taxes, including VAT and customer taxes.
**What We're Looking For:**
- Qualified tax professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ADIT, or equivalent) with in-house tax leadership experience.
- Deep knowledge of cross-border tax issues, international structuring, and transfer pricing.
- Strong people leader with a track record of coaching and fostering high-performing teams.
