Empower is looking for a Tax Manager to join our Finance team and oversee our tax function. You will support our efforts in tax compliance, provisioning, and business licensing, in addition to other tax analyses and licensing requirements. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external third party firms. This role will report to our Chief Accounting Officer.

The Business Tax Compliance Specialist ensures companies meet critical indirect tax obligations, such as sales, use, and payroll taxes, while navigating complex regulations. This role is vital to preventing compliance risks, mitigating audit findings, and maintaining accurate tax filings. The specialist ensures efficient processes, fosters client trust, and safeguards businesses against costly penalties or missed deadlines.
