The Mechanical Sales Engineer's role involves developing mechanical efficiency solutions for commercial and industrial clients. Responsibilities include facility audits, creating scopes of work for sales proposals, developing project costs and savings, and assisting in closing sales opportunities. This role also entails working with utility personnel on incentive programs. Key abilities include evaluating HVAC systems, identifying efficiency solutions, and developing conceptual designs and economics. The candidate will create and revise project scopes to meet ROI and payback criteria. They will also develop savings calculations for utility incentives and mechanical designs for purchase orders and installation contracts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. The role involves managing projects to achieve profitability goals and maintaining a detail-oriented approach to project management, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. This position requires collaboration with sales executives and project managers to deliver client value.
