The opportunity:
- Lead architecture and technical decisions across the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion to consumption by products and AI.
- Drive modern engineering approaches through proofs of concept, technology evaluation, and reimagining solutions.
What you'll own:
- Improve scalability, reliability, and observability across the Data Lake and more than 4,000 GCP projects.
- Partner with engineering, product, and senior leadership to align teams around sound platform decisions.
What you'll bring:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep data-focused platform work.
- Strong cloud data platform experience in GCP, AWS, or Azure, plus Python or Go and SQL.
