EMEA Solutions Engineer

Educate prospects and customers on the capabilities and benefits of TiDB, articulating how it addresses business and technical challenges. Share best practices for integrating TiDB with various data sources and applications. Guide customers through the design, deployment, and optimization of TiDB implementations across multiple functional areas of their organization. Lead and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, demonstrating TiDB’s capabilities in real-world scenarios. Develop and present tailored architectural solutions, best practices, and industry-specific use cases. Provide technical input on RFPs and customer technical requirements. Create and develop technical champions in your accounts to drive deals and achieve a technical win. Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of TiDB throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation. Develop and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops to various audiences, including developers, architects, and C-level executives. Generate high-quality technical content such as whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and reference architectures. Stay at the cutting edge of distributed database technology, confidently presenting TiDB roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve TiDB’s products and positioning. Establish industry influence by contributing to technical discussions, organizing knowledge-sharing sessions, and engaging with the open-source community. Travel within the region (approximately 20-40%) as required for customer engagements.
