Job Description

CSO (Customer Service Operations) is an inbound call center that provides customer service for the involuntary Worker’s Compensation department, providing support to agents and customers regarding Underwriting, Audit, and Financial inquiries. As an Insurance Assistant, you'll work in an inbound call center performing duties such as taking phone calls, responding to internal and external requests regarding account information, taking payments, and providing policy information. This role requires following detailed procedures, using problem-solving skills, and applying strong organizational/administrative skills and insurance knowledge to accomplish routine and non-routine tasks. The position is metrics-based, including phone handle time, after-call work, schedule adherence, items worked offline, and service tracking. Employees must be flexible to work within the hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm EST, plus some holidays. Training is mandatory and will be continually assessed.
