As a Senior Engineer for the Rail Traffic team, you will lead on traffic and preemption analysis and design. Responsibilities include conducting site visits and preparing plans or studies. Collaborate closely with team members on complex projects for successful outcomes.

• Analyzing data from transportation studies, overseeing the forecasting of future traffic patterns, and preparing or supervising the preparation of technical reports.
• Review and approve work orders, ensuring compliance with established plans, standards, and specifications, and will conduct traffic surveys and related studies.
• Provide direct support to the Deputy Borough Engineer and the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, accurate, and a reliable team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Provides remote technical support for small-scale and less complex tenders, projects, and designs. Ensures that projects meet agreed requirements such as safety, quality, time, and budget. Drafts specifications and procedures for the realization of tenders, projects, and designs.
