Job Description
Oversee day-to-day quality assurance operations and participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding QA team members. Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations, set goals and objectives for the QA team and ensure they are aligned with the overall business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the QA team and assist with testing and debugging software. Develop and implement the overall QA strategy and roadmap for the organization. Plan and allocate resources effectively to achieve project goals and meet deadlines. Oversee the design and implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications to identify potential quality issues.
Conduct and oversee functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure software meets quality standards. Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA processes and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of quality assurance activities. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to communicate quality-related information and address any concerns or issues.
