Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in building and scaling a high-performance platform. This role focuses on designing backend systems that manage critical functions such as payments, subscriptions, fulfillment, and order tracking, ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers while maintaining high standards of code quality and system reliability.
Accountabilities: Contribute to the architecture and scalability of backend systems, ensuring low latency, high availability, and secure operations. Build and maintain APIs and data pipelines connecting product, billing, and fulfillment systems for consistent cross-service communication. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver customer-facing features that enhance conversion, retention, and overall user experience. Ensure data integrity. Partner with DevOps to automate deployments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in software development. Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages. Experience building RESTful and event-driven microservices at scale. Solid understanding of cloud platforms and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, message queues, and caching systems. Commitment to writing clean code. Strong problem-solving skills.
