Job Description

The Director, Health System Strategy must be experienced with implementations at the Large Hospital/IDN level, involving extensive hospital interaction and relationship development at the Director/Key Stakeholder level, along with sound knowledge of the health-system pharmacy environment and the application of specialty pharmacy within the system. This role guides the implementation process through demonstrated expertise in clinical and technical processes, working with the Business Development and Implementation team to advise on clinical and operational options, gather customer requirements, define best practices, design decisions, and policy and procedures. The Director effectively performs required tasks to ensure successful acceptance of the SHS service, timely Go-Lives, and customer satisfaction. Establishing collaborative working relationships with cross-functional project teams is essential. They also act as a mentor for both customers and internal team members, assisting the Business Development team on sales calls, performing clinical assessments, and leading the implementation and onboarding of new customers. Key responsibilities include creating ongoing relationships with customers, managing best practices, collaborating with the pharmacist team, and contributing to the profession of pharmacy. Additionally, the role involves requirement definition, workflow design, and project management responsibilities, requiring 40-50% travel.
