Senior Consultant (Public Sector)

Role Summary:

• Supports public sector advisory engagements, focusing on state and local government and public sector entities.
• Executes project tasks, conducts analysis, and develops technical and professional skills.
• Contributes to high-quality client service across internal audit and management consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs analyses, testing, interviews, walkthroughs, and documentation to identify risks, process improvements, and insights.
• Prepares high-quality workpapers, reports, and presentations aligned with MGO standards.
• Interacts directly with client stakeholders and support trusted advisor relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public sector consulting, public accounting, internal audit, or advisory services.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
