PFS Underpayment Support

Job Summary:

• Identify and perform follow-up to secure payment on underpaid insurance accounts.
• Review referred accounts and analyze reimbursement variances to validate underpayments.

Essential Functions:

• Submit adjustment requests and request additional payment from insurance companies.
• Perform timely follow-up on all assigned accounts, escalating unresolved appeals.
• Prepare monthly denial logs and collaborate with supervisors to recover underpayments.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with 2-5 years of healthcare work experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance reimbursement, and accounts receivable systems.
• Ability to analyze data, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively with all levels.

Additional Information:

• Pay range is $37.55 to $46.94 per hour.
• This role is remote eligible and benefits eligible.
