Job Description

Receives call and email messages from prospective customers and explains type of products offered. Researches products available for purchase based upon the customers' need. Assists customers with proper selection of items. Provides basic telephone troubleshooting as applicable to company products. Quotes prices and tries to persuade customer to buy. Secures orders and keys data into computer, and informs customer of delivery date. Records names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects solicited. Processes and follows up on mail orders. Performs follow-up on special orders, drop ships, pricing, etc. Assists Sales Manager in product presentation, arrangement and functionality of Company web site. Provides assistance to Tech Writer for presentation and proofreading of technical publications. Interacts and communicates with other departments, team leaders and supervisors.
