Job Description

As a country marketing manager at Whatnot, you love being the driver of hyper-growth and helping sellers grow their businesses fast. You're quick to understand users and communities across every category you’ll be launching—whether it's beauty, trading cards, or anything in between. You are an expert in developing and executing marketing plans centered around customer acquisition and retention. This work includes digital events on the Whatnot platform, one-off activations and integrations with influencers, and partnering with Whatnot sellers on exciting and engaging content. Own buyer acquisition across the priority categories in Australia, devising campaigns and events that generate buzz and grow those categories' demand. Develop and execute on the social media strategy for your market's categories across multiple channels and platforms. Identify and pursue PR and influencer opportunities in the local market across categories. Build scalable resources and toolkits to help sellers better market their channels and grow their audiences on the platform. Measure and iterate on the effectiveness of category marketing initiatives. Team members in this role must be based in Australia.
