Position Overview:
- The Medical Science Liaison contributes to the ecosystem strategic business plan and provides clinical, scientific, and health economic information to key stakeholders.
- This field-based role engages with Key Influencers, healthcare providers, and patient groups to further patient outcomes aligned with Otsuka's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Builds and cultivates external relationships with scientific and medical customers to ensure understanding of evolving healthcare trends.
- Delivers on business objectives and provides evidence-based information to demonstrate the value of Otsuka's products.
- Supports clinical trials program and provides medical training to internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Requires an MD/DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences, with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs experience.
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and ability to work in a cross-functional environment are essential.
- Previous CNS disease experience is preferred.
