Principal Backend Java Engineer

We’re hiring a Principal Backend Java Engineer with a strong background in large scale distributed systems to work on one of the largest distributed systems in the world. You’ll be developing infrastructure and solving many technical challenges in the areas of distributed computing frameworks, data structures and algorithms. This team develops and maintains high-performing systems for 200 million plus active users. Key responsibilities include designing and developing large-scale distributed systems that balance resources, deploying, monitoring, and operating large scale production systems, automating provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and management of infrastructure, and leading projects while mentoring junior team members.
