Job Description

This position will entail a wide range of duties including being responsible for the effective hands-on coordination and management of the e-billing and payment cycle workflow related to payment posting, charge corrections, monthly reconciling of payments to bank deposits for the Firm’s offices and other duties as assigned. Skills include ensuring accurate observance of e-billing requirements and processes, preparing billing reports, ensuring timely invoice submission, working with the Accounting Department to recommend changes to enhance billing processes, and supervising e-billing and receivables staff. The role also involves evaluating staff skill levels, providing performance feedback, and participating in hiring decisions. Candidates need a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Five years of legal billing/receivables experience and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software; Advanced experience in e-billing is a must. In addition to two years of supervisory experience in similar role and ability to assume a leadership role. Advanced knowledge of MS Applications to include Excel, Outlook, and Access.
