Senior Engineer, Full Stack

Role Overview:

• Own design, development, maintenance, and operational performance of full-stack applications for federal healthcare systems.
• Build and enhance applications using Python on the backend and React or Angular with TypeScript on the frontend.
• Research and introduce new technologies, including AI-driven solutions, through proofs of concept and system modernization.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead technical design decisions and contribute to architecture across one or more products or services.
• Mentor and guide engineers, supporting their growth and encouraging technical ownership and collaboration.
• Enforce and improve engineering processes, ensuring alignment across the team while balancing tradeoffs effectively.

Collaboration and Impact:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with healthcare service design and user needs.
• Support continuous improvement of systems supporting CMS Quality Management and Review programs.
• Work in a mission-driven, remote-first environment with a focus on improving healthcare quality and reducing administrative burden.
