Product Manager

The Payments & Blockchain team is responsible for the first and last mile of every dollar (digital or fiat) that goes in or out of Kraken. You will be responsible for driving initiatives that improve authorization rates, reduce friction in user journeys, and adapt our payments infrastructure to meet the diverse needs of users—from first-time retail customers to high-volume institutional partners. This is an opportunity to lead cross-functional efforts spanning backend integrations, partner onboarding, frontend UX, and compliance-sensitive flows for all Kraken users alike. Own and evolve a set of payment rails across both specific methods and geographic regions . Lead partner integrations and manage relationships with payment processors, acquirers, and banking partners . Drive continuous improvement of authorization rates, settlement speed, and overall user conversion . Collaborate with fraud and compliance teams to ensure payment flows meet security, regulatory, and operational standards . Drive UX enhancements through structured experimentation and customer insights . Ensure payment capabilities are scalable and adaptable across our consumer app, pro trading app, and external interfaces such as on/off-ramps . Use data to inform prioritization, track performance, and iterate toward better outcomes.
