Network Engineer

Network:

• Design, plan, and implement network infrastructure moves, adds, or changes, including maintenance and support.
• Ensure network compliance with regulations like PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO, and Webtrust.
• Mount and install network devices in data centers, including hardware configuration and cable management.

Network Security:

• Implement and maintain security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, ACLs, and encryption.
• Manage AAA using Radius and Tacacs+ for device access and NAC.
• Understand stateful vs non-stateful rules, symmetric routing, and NAT types.

Troubleshooting and Optimization:

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Analyze and optimize network performance for high availability and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel to the Manchester datacenter as needed.
