Corporate Counsel

Accountable for providing timely and effective legal support and advice across Cogstate’s various lines of business, with a specific focus on commercial contracts (drafting, negotiation and management of various commercial contracts), and regulatory compliance (including data privacy and medical device regulations). The Corporate Counsel is expected to work predominantly independently and will assist the General Counsel as required. Key responsibilities include review, draft and negotiate agreements, work collaboratively with internal business partners, respond to legal questions, review company contract templates, ensure compliance with medical device and data privacy regulations, develop corporate policies, and assist with data privacy policies.
