Join the Conversation Understanding and Automation team as a Backend Engineer at LivePerson, contributing to state-of-the-art services used by our largest customers. Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance services, requiring exceptional technical expertise and a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, as well as practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. You'll adopt, embrace, and promote agile and test-driven software development practices while working with modern technologies like Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, Hazelcast, MySQL, Docker, and K8s. The role also involves participating in paid on-call duty approximately every 6-8 weeks as part of our "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy. LivePerson is a remote-first company with offices in Mannheim and Berlin.
