Director, Diagnostic Imaging Services

Provides strategic direction for diagnostic imaging services, oversees daily operations, and establishes key performance indicators. Leads a robust Quality Assurance (QA) program for echocardiography, collaborating with sonographers and cardiologists to assess image quality. Manages a diverse team, collaborates cross-functionally, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and manages departmental budgets. Spearheads innovation and digital transformation initiatives, managing vendor partnerships and implementing staff safety protocols. Designs a sonographer retention program and serves as a subject matter expert. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Radiologic Sciences or Healthcare Administration), a minimum of 5 years experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, and 7 years of progressive leadership experience. Must also be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
