Job Description

This role involves a range of responsibilities including reviewing life and accident insurance enrollments, determining the degree of completion, and reviewing premium statistics to ensure data transmitted by employers reconciles to the database. The specialist will access imaged documents to resolve enrollment discrepancies and respond to member or employing unit questions.Coordination of continuation of life benefits for employees terminating group coverage, processing requests for refunds due to overpayment of premiums, and performing online updates on the State payroll system are also key duties. Participation in annual open enrollment activities and benefit fairs is expected.
