Executive Underwriter, Equipment Breakdown

Responsibilities:

• Risk Selection: Qualify accounts, select and assess risks, determine premium and policy terms, and negotiate deals with agents and brokers.
• Agent/Broker Relationships: Establish and maintain successful partnerships through responsive service, site visits, and a strong personal brand to build a quality business pipeline.

Portfolio Management:

• Analyze the book of business to identify opportunities for improved growth, profit, and diversification.
• Execute marketing plans by attending and making calls to brokers to market and cross-market products.

Leadership and Development:

• Formally and informally guide, mentor, and coach less experienced underwriters in technical and professional skills.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement by engaging in problem-solving activities and using tools to support the team's work.
